Frances Phillips Taft to Participate in International Employment Conference

(Feb. 05, 2008)—Frances Phillips Taft, a lawyer in the Faegre & Benson LLP employee benefits practice, will be a panelist at a major international employment law conference March 7–8, in New York City.

The conference—“As the World Turns: Perspectives on International Labor and Employment Law”—is sponsored by the New York State Bar Association and Cornell University’s ILR School Labor and Employment Law Program.

Speakers at the conference will examine cross-border labor and employment practice. Phillips Taft’s panel topic is “Multinational Equity, Benefit & Pension Issues.”

Phillips Taft, as special counsel, focuses on matters concerning domestic and international employment, pension, tax and immigration issues. A dual-qualified attorney in the United States and United Kingdom, she has experience working with multinational companies on a broad spectrum of cross-jurisdictional matters, including international benefits and pan-European pension arrangements.
