In this issue of China Law Update, we summarize four new regulations that were enacted in late December of 2007 and January of 2008 and will affect foreign investors and foreign-owned businesses. Three of those four were issued by China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC), which seems to be trying to streamline some procedures in order to make life easier for companies importing and exporting goods to and from China.
