Evolving Business Issues in the U.S.-China Trade Relationship
This one and one half-hour course is designed to introduce lawyers to issues surrounding emerging issues facing U.S. companies doing business with China.
U.S. companies doing business with China face a host of operating challenges, ranging from securing regulatory approvals to protecting their intellectual property. At the same time, changing administrations and rising protectionist sentiments in both the United States and China threaten to impede the market access gains that U.S. companies have made in recent years.
This course will touch on recent trends in the operating environment for companies, current state of U.S.-China relations, and potential policy changes a new U.S. administration might adopt toward China.
US-China Business Council president John Frisbie will be leading the course.
