MINNEAPOLIS (May 13, 2008) — Amy C. Seidel, a partner in the Faegre & Benson LLP corporate group, has been named a recipient of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under Forty Award.
The award honors 40 Twin Cities professionals under 40 years old for their business accomplishments and community contributions.
Since joining Faegre & Benson in 1998, Seidel has developed a significant practice in the public companies, corporate governance and executive compensation arenas. She handles work for some of the firm’s largest clients and has led complex strategic investment transactions for a variety of well-known companies.
A subject matter expert on Sarbanes-Oxley, corporate governance and securities, Seidel is a sought-after speaker at conferences and legal seminars throughout the region. She has written several articles on securities law and corporate governance matters.
Seidel serves on the advisory board of thecorporatecounsel.net, the leading online forum for national discussion on securities law and corporate governance topics. She also provides pro bono assistance to Milestone Growth Fund, representing the fund in investments in minority-owned businesses.
