General Policy. When you visit www.faegre.com, we do not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you specifically provide it to us. Your visit is logged by a statistics program, which keeps records of traffic on the site, as well as numerical counts of visitors by domain, URL, search engine, keywords used, and other standard web measurements.

E-Mail News Registration. If you choose to register for e-mail news on the site, you need to supply us with certain required information, including your name, e-mail address and company. We then send you e-mails on areas of legal interest you have specified. Each e-mail contains information on how to be removed from our lists. The information you give us is kept in a database not located on the web. We do not place any cookies on your computer in connection with e-mail news registration. On a very rare basis, we make mailing information available to vendors for one-time use in marketing items that we believe may be of interest to you. For example, if one of our lawyers authors a legal treatise in an area of interest you have indicated, we may supply the publisher with mailing addresses for use in marketing that specific volume.

Site Customization. If you choose to customize the web site, we place a cookie on your computer that retains the personalization elements you have requested. The personal information you provide for site customization is limited to your name, legal areas of interest, and lawyers you work with. This information is stored only in the cookie and not retained by us.

Seminar Registration. If you choose to register online for a seminar, and provide credit card information, this process is administered by a separate, secure web site utilizing technology provided by CyberCash. Personally identifiable credit card information is not transferred to Faegre & Benson. CyberCash does not use the credit card information you provide except to complete the registration process for the seminar. The personal information you provide (not including credit card number) is forwarded to Faegre & Benson and may be used to add you to our hard copy mailing list for publications and other invitations. This information is also used to prepare name tags and attendance lists for the seminar.

Your Consent. By using the Faegre & Benson web site, you consent to our use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time without advance notice. Should any new policy go into effect, we will post it on this site, and the policy will apply only to information collected thereafter.
