When you arrive at the firm, you'll be assigned an associate sponsor to introduce you to the firm and our people. Your sponsor and others at the Firm will make sure you get support and feedback throughout the summer.

Each week, we hold a "Morning Meeting," where you can learn and ask questions on topics such as firm policies, benefits, technology, compensation, client relationships, marketing, and any other aspects of your life as a lawyer. It's a wide-ranging opportunity to get answers and information about anything on your mind.

We offer a formal Lunch Program throughout the summer in which community leaders and clients of the firm talk about their careers and their work with Faegre & Benson. Our past speakers have included judges, city council members, venture capitalists, pro bono clients, and clients from companies like Target, 3M, Guidant, Frontier Airlines, Colorado Rockies, Hutchinson Technology, and others. On other days, you will likely go to lunch with lawyers you are working with and other lawyers you would like to meet.

We also offer a Summer Writing Program, including a seminar on legal writing and individual feedback from a partner on your written projects to help you learn about writing as a practicing lawyer.
