It's not all work during our Summer Programs. We want you to have fun, too. We hope you'll be with us for a long time, and our social events are a great chance for you to get to know our people and the regions in which you'll live. Our summer associates and lawyers get together often. We hold many informal activities: barbecues, picnics, softball games, dinners at lawyers' homes, trips to the theater or local music and sports events, even lawn bowling in the rooftop garden of a local English pub. You may find yourself enjoying the Shakespeare Festival in Boulder, a Rockies game at Coors Field in downtown Denver, or a Musicfest concert by the Minnesota Orchestra in downtown Minneapolis. All participants in our Summer Programs, regardless of office, are invited to participate in an optional excursion to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota. The firm has long been involved on a pro bono basis in protecting the BWCA environment, and each year summer associates have the opportunity to visit the area on a four-day camping/canoeing adventure. By the end of the summer, you'll know your colleagues in our firm not just as lawyers, but as people. Those relationships are at the heart of our collaborative culture, and they make your experience at Faegre & Benson truly distinctive.
