The focus of the day, Agricultural Production to Food Consumption: Meeting the Challenges for Sustainable Success, brings together senior industry leaders from businesses, trade associations, academic institutions, and government organizations.

Guests of the 2010 conference have the ability to construct their own program choosing from more than 20 topics that will be presented as breakout panel discussions. Our group of national panelists will include business and industry leaders, government representatives, and academic specialists.

Among the featured topics are the following:

Food Production and Safety. Our sessions will focus on challenges in food labeling, food safety, and obesity policies.

Production Agriculture and the Environment. Presentations will cover a variety of production and environmental topics, including waste litigation and pesticide liability, animal welfare, greenhouse gas regulations and tensions fueling the food vs. fuel debate.

Brand Sustainability and Your Intellectual Property. Sessions will address business strategies in a green economy, university technology transfer, supply chain management, brand recognition, and trade secret protection.

Doing Business in the World Market. Our speakers will examine counterparty risk management, agricultural finance, international immigration compliance, product globalization, and acquiring new business lines.
